That is it! I'm voting for Kerry
Never thought I would say this, but I'm tired of Bush and his stinking oil cronies, we are paying almost $2.50 a gallon in California for gas, and he won't do anything about it.
I hear is how much he cares about "The American people". Yeah right, he obviously doesn't care about how much money we get to keep in our wallets. (Only his rich buddies) I guess it doesn't really matter anyways, because Kerry will take California easily, he can't be any worse than Bush. The war on terror is a failure, he will never win it, Iraq will never become a democracy, we need to cut our losses and get the hell out now. Kerry seems to care more about the American people than Bush ever will. Oh, and last time I looked, I didn't see the terrorists running down my street, he is just trying to play on our fears. Throw the bum out! :tu: |
wow
what happened pisser? Never thought i'd see the day where you would take the democratic side :con: You are right on this tho, the war against terrorisim is a complete failiure. Dubya's resume Quote:

i really dont think you will get bush out that easy...when more than half the population makes most of its decisions out of fear..ie.fear of lack ,fear of death
its going to be far easier for the policys of the right to trap new and swinging voters. and the climate is perfect..whether by design or circumstance the health care issue that was even going on in a thread here is a good example of how fear is a vital ingredient to how the polarities of politics work..its is the membrane that sperates the dichotimised nature of our current state of democracy i hope JK wins but i fear he wont.. come on US prove me wrong..;) |

the way the oil prices are going it could be hitting 60US$ a barrel by christmas..it seems to hovering around 55$ atm..and only going in one direction
if JK gets in..gas prices wont get better..if he does stuff like.. signs the kyoto protocol the petro-chemical sector will go into panic mode..it could get even worse.. :PO:are you sure your ready to go liberal and change your whole political philosophy over gas prices..pisser? :a: |

Don't tempt the devil :CG: Personnally, it's about time that another alternative is to be considered very soon to oil/gaz. |
hiya
:W: who me :N: ...never ! some kids at a university built a solar/hydrogen car...they can make one on a limited school budget in four years ..but motor manufacturing conglomerates with their huge budgets and even huger research grants still manage to come up with virually nothing.. and they have been sucking it up with plenty of existing technology to work with since the 70's at least..while people reseaching hydrogen independently were threatened and some time probably even killed to death..for not giving up and selling their designs to the motor manufacturing conglomerates and oil ogliarchies..where they were promptly shelved..never to see the light of day again..this is an old story.. the copyright problems the internet has caused would be miniscule to the economic problems that would arise if people started brewing their own fuel at home out of tap water..but i am sure its been an ongoing fight to limit the technology..creat mountains of disinformation..and keep fossil fuel as the apparent only valid form of power for transport.. maybe seem a bit far fetched..? sure..i just think the governments of the oil and drug money funded world economy last wish is to see valid operating alternativly powered vehicles available to the general public ..cheaply |

We pay high prices because the government taxes gas to death. Canadians get punished for driving Cars, trucks, Moterbikes, etc.......Part of the High taxes on gas go towards our Health Care System which is a complete joke. |

Since 2/3 of the economy is generated by consumer spending, the higher gas prices take away disposible income from most families, therefore hurting the economic growth of the country. I don't expect 50 cents a gallon gas, but it needs to be a little more reasonable, also, here in California, most people have to commute longer distances to work, because of the geographic layout of Southern California, so cars are not really a luxury, but a necessity. Frankly, Bush doesn't give a shit about the average (read, middle class) families of America, just his rich oil buddies, that's why I say, throw the bum out! :tu: |
