damn that 17 page thread in their forum was hilarious...
i have been going there for quite a while now..
all tho i post very little there and lost my original nick
but at least since aug last year...

IMHO if "master of files " was to leave then we can start sayin goodbye to good ol SR

looks like others already lining up to take their places...
what did the ppl that left release any way ..porn?
no big deal if that was the case

It's not the end. They can just get new people. And the webmaster insists it's not about money.
btw here's his new house j/k

ShareReactor's News Archive (so far down it got pushed off their front page)
I Don't Meet You No More In This World....(15.11.2002 21:05:28) from Master Of Files
Well...
what can I say?
My time with ShareReactor has been an incredible one, I've gotten to see and do things I never would have imagined I'd get access to.
And yet, the time has come for some of the SR staff to walk away.
At the heart of this situation, there are some unresolved issues regarding appropriation of funds as well as some issues regarding trust.
To all the people who supported us... I can only say... thank you.
You are what made ShareReactor great.
Will you see me around? No. I am going to disappear back into the darkness from whence I came...
Will you see the others around? Likely a no again though I cannot think for them.
I know this all must be confusing, perhaps heart-wrenching for many of you who think of ShareReactor as your second home...
And I can't necessarily bring you to "my page" so to speak but I can promise you this is for the best.
Faithfully Yours,
Master of Files (aka Craig)
end of sharereactor?
it's at least a blow for it, and a big blow for the edonkey network itself imo.

Nope. Still not done. I took along time with the design / busy with real world things. Then alphabeater was away for quite awhile.

Latest I have heard is that yes we will still be bringing a p2p client to the scene, and to keep working on it. But I guess alphabeater has decided to change the network from open nap.

A good move in my opinion. Sometime soon I hope its all finished.
