check your files for errors
I downloaded a little program over the weekend, which so far has shown itself to be very useful. It's called mp3Test, and you can get it from www.webattack.com (another useful site).
The program is easy to use, and identifies all errors, and/or gives the ok on complete files. edit: I shoulda mentioned - it's a freebie!

another ENC-SPOT clone?
Not tried it but will, thanks for the link...
We need something to check quality before completion really, I'd bet there are no such progs.. (Personal note) not forgotten your PM enquiry, no one locally has a copy, but there is always hope, nice bit of gear, we had a 4 channel version where I used to work.. Snark... Advert: Brilliant programmers wanted, must be able to write programs to snatch first few frames of any MP3, report status & Quality, do spectral analysis, spot fake re-codes, continue download if test passed, or dumpout and leave provider a RUDE message if not... /advert: |
