Hey schmooky, I was checking out your collection in myplay.com. It looks like they give you 2.3 gigabytes of space. That's a lot. How much do you have to pay for that? The problem is, that in order for others to access the files, they have to log in using your username, which is a security vulnerability. I see too that their server is using a type of operating system that requires you to put the annoying spaces in the song title. Actually I didn't know square parentheses are acceptable, until just now.
I downloaded Pascal device - Azure, and it reminds me of something of the single mixes (like Signum RMX) of Alice Deejay's "better off alone". What is trance and techno, and what is the difference? How about music like Mekajinn or Nine Inch Nails; what kind are they called? |

>>>'It looks like they give you 2.3 gigabytes of space. That's a lot. How much do you have to pay for that?'<<<
myplay gives you 3 gb of space for free, but its only for music files like mp3s, wav, wma, etc. and file size is limited to 25mb per file the weird thing about it is in order to give other people access to your locker, you have to give them the login details. but since its only mp3s and i give the access only to trusted sources then i dont worry about it too much. u can always sign up for a new locker. besides, this locker is old, some of the music there dates back 8 or 9 months (at least) >>>'What is trance and techno, and what is the difference?'<<< there isn't a whole lot of difference, i guess its all dance music in a way >>>'like Mekajinn or Nine Inch Nails; what kind are they called?'<<< honestly you should ask meka, but imo its some form of techno. nin is hard rock me thinks, not dance |

This program shows the latest charts(including dance) constantly updated. You can then download from within the program.

hi all!
schmooky...this locker thing looks pretty good, but... after configuring my player, i still can't play or download. i have no clue as to what the problem is. i have aol, windows me edition, 56k. is it the dial-up that is giving me a problem? (remember, i'm out in the boonies and can't get dsl or cable). and yes, i know, aol sucks, but, hey, i'm getting it free!!!!!!!!!!!! other than that i can't figure it out. napho...i'd like to know more about this comtry before i download anything. is it a sampling device to see what i like and then i go to winmx and download the whole thing? but WOW, great resources to hopefully some good music. thanks, guys...............you ROCK!

>>>'hi all!
schmooky...this locker thing looks pretty good, but... after configuring my player, i still can't play or download. i have no clue as to what the problem is.'<<< what browser are u using? try using 'save target as...' or 'save link as...' to download the songs there, you need to mark the checkbox to the left of each song that you wanna download, and then click the 'download' button from the toolbar above. this will bring you to a new page, and there you can just click on the link of the song to start downloading or right-click the link and select 'save target as...' to listen to songs stored in the locker, you can press the green triangle circle play button thingy to the left of each song. but because most of the songs there are encoded @192kbits, you will not be able to stream them with a 56k modem |
