I sent a letter to the governor of Michigan, urging her to consider raising the state sales tax. I thought it was a totally fair way to get everyone to pay according to their income. After all, the more you make, the more things you buy. Thus the more tax you'd pay.
All I got back from her was a form letter saying what a
great job she's been doing since elected. Bah.
