Can y'all download "Polar Opposites" by Modest Mouse and let me know what you think of it? PLEASE! I bet y'all will enjoy this band! Yupe, I sure do so, take the challenge and download this ONE song! What do you have to lose?

Probably the second... or third best (they run a tie with Mudhoney) active local band here in Seattle. Pearl Jam of course being first.

They are a very popular band here; they carry a quiet proudness with them. Seen them about a half-dozen times in small clubs, the $10 show type. Small crowds, lotsa beer and mucho fun.

Yeah, they play down here too and the tickets are so cheap which is GREAT! The middle picture in my sig is from September 26 2001 when they played in Atlanta! I swear, I honestly LOVE this band! They're simply...amazing!

And I agree, it is relaxing but that part..."I'm trying...I'm trying to...drink away the part of the day that I cannot sleep awaaaaaaaay" just gets me each and every time! I mean, he sings that stanza as if, he's begging for something in his life to just...stop! O'I don't know but I'm so hooked on this band. Thanks once again for checking out Modest Mouse!
