Thumbs up Ccr

Everytime I listen to Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Chronicle" CD, I remember how much I love that band. Man that's a good CD. Each song that plays, I decide that's the best one on the CD. Then along comes the next one. And I change my mind.

Very few CD's have all great songs like this one.

Thoughts? Opinions?

Or am I just an old dog living in the past?

(damn, the title of the thread was supposed to be in caps, why didn't it work???)

well, Dawn, i'm not a big CCR fan.
but u r right.
the artists of old, were the ones, where almost every single song was awesome.
where u could just put the record on and let the whole thing play without having to worry bout skipping over this song or that.
that's when u didn't mind going out and spending money on the artist.
even if u hadn't even heard the songs, as singles, u just knew the artist had the talent to put out 10-15 excellent songs.

I like the Chronicle CD too

Funny thing is I find that even some best of's nowadays have songs I'd prefer skipping! I realized that after I'd burned a CD of mp3's that matched the official CD and then hit myself - I could have made my own best of that I would have liked more since I was using Mp3's anyway. Next time.

I don't like their rendition of I heard It Through The Grapevine, but other than that it is a great cd.
