The Dave Mathews Band - P2P-Zone

Seems like alot of people either love them or hate them. I heard 2 today as a matter of fact, and loved them both.

What do you think of them?

I never got too interested in them, I didn't think "I did it" (i think that's what it's called, first single of the new one) was that great but I liked The Space Between, until I got myself an mp3 and it sounded empty, so I threw it out.
Basically I'm back where I started. Maybe I should give Space between another go, though

I like their older stuff better. They rode on their reputation as a great live band and recorded some songs that sounded good live and in studio. But their recent stuff seems like they're trying too hard. I've always liked their music but in the past few years there hasn't been much to be excited about.

Tell me about it. Dave Matthews is getting way too preachy in his old age. Oh well, there's always Under the Table and Dreaming, and Crash. The new crap doesn't erase the good music they made before.

the music isnt all too horrible, its the fans of dave matthews that are horrible, they make his concerts total garbage, and have totally turned me off to dave matthews. It doesnt help that they call him 'Dave' like they know him personally either
