Sounds good to me, it's hard to find good Opennap servers anymore. But who's going to donate the server?

Brows Not me BUT?

If anyone wants to try it, you can use my server, no guarantee it will be on 24 hours or 7 days per week, but you never know?

No links yet, just on its own, liable to crash, of course as it runs under winmx 3.0 beta on test...

try pommie.dns2go.com Port 8888

I have an extra box (1G/30GB/384) I can use but not on good line.

Snark, how much traffic will Opennap server produce on say 300 users?

Thanks Snark, I'm at your server.

on MX
point <OpenNap Protocol ..... Network>
select 'Add'
enter 'Network' any name. I named 'Snark'
enter 'Address' pommie.dns2go.com
enter 'Port' 8888
enter 'User' and 'Password'

I'll put it up (with your help ), as soon as I get good line.

Hey snark, have you thought about setting up a chat channel on your server?

off to a good start. saw hal, labour, mazer (& skippylady?) and added them to my hotlist. server drops when i click d/l but didn't interupt an ongoing one. can we increase share limit beyond 1000? i'd like to see 5000.

(poor jack lol!) i get dropped everytime i click "browse" - can't scan anyones' folders. and with 10 gigs per user waiting for me (even more actually right now) it's driving me mad,

all that tunage and it's just out of reach.

wasabodger, install winmx, either v2.6 or beta v3 and we'll show you how to put in the server.
