- A new data transport architecture
- New base services, including search

Good link, it has a lot more explanation than what I saw before. It looks like a promising protocol on the technology side. I wonder what kind of social interaction it will support, if any.

Gnutella is evolving nicely. It has never been much of a content network but it continues to be a great test and development environment for decentralized p2p. Kudos to Michael Stokes for good development ideas!
