This may be a 70's jingle or perhaps early 80's.

I believe the song is called 'Away From You' it was a ballad.

The lyrics go something like:

Away from you the sun don't seem to shine as briiiiiight......
Away from you there just don't seem to beeeeeee....as many stars at night
away from you.........when I'm away from you......

Anybody remember....

I found a few different songs named "away from you". There is one by Kansas in 1979, but it doesn't contain those specific lyrics. There are also songs by that name by Gloria Estefan and Garry and the Pacemacers, but those are not from the right time period.

My guess is...this may be a one hit wonder......i can 'hear' the song in my head, and can almost put an artist to what I'm hearing.......just trying to match the voice to another song......I if I saw the artist written, I think I would know......and say yes that's it......
