This doesn't seem fair to me, considering the album is not completed yet and people are downloading a rough mixed version of it. I think it's only fair that an artist should at least have a say as to which product hits the street first. It's an injustice to Radiohead, who I consider to be a good band. At least give them an opportunity to recoup some of their recording expenditures with a completed record. People who leak stuff like this are swine.

Is there ever such a thing as a finished product for an artist? I feel that having many variations of the music would only stir more interest and be beneficial to the artist.

It seems that too many artists get hung up on their vanity rather than seeing the larger beauty of the works that they have created. The artist is merely a humble servant of his artistic work.
