Angry Damn WinMX again

What the hell???

Is anyone else finding this? Everytime I do a song search, the vast majority of the returned list is queued!! (Status/Server) always seems to be in the red!!!

You could wait a rain of Sundays B4 you'd ever get a half decent bitrate and connection...

Don't care too much for this.

Thanks for responding Oscar, time to do a little protesting to WinMX.com, (like that would help )

I liked it better before, at least you had some choices

I have no idea why some people praise that useless program. All you ever get is queues. Thanks, but I'll stick with my Blubster, iMesh, and edonkey, which always get me great results without those endless queues.

Right on, Dawn! What a bunch of whiners. Now get off my network so I don't have to see so many queues.

The reason winmx has all these queue problems (well, the main reason anyways) is that a lot of people only have 1 slot open. This is a big problem. I think Winmx should add an option to automatically block non sharers and people with less than 3 slots.

GrinYes Hit The Nail In The Head

ssj4_android hit the nail right in the head.

The problem IS the people sharing or should I say leeching?

9 out of 10 want a free meal.

AG had it right. You download ten, you open ten slots.

There isn't room for democracy when it comes to file sharing programs.

I can't help but smile when I see references about the true p2p spirit.

WinMx anybody?

Of course, the easiest explanation for the sudden dearth of available download slots is probably the beginning of school, as all the kiddies trot off to their wired campuses and dorms, and fire up P2P apps.

yes, i'll take winmx......only i have uninstalled the 3.3 version and have reinstalled 2.6.
i get more hits and decent speeds, without the queues, with the opennap servers, alone.
and so that is what i am doing.
i like the interface of 2.6.......3.3 is too busy and crowded.
it is easy going and familiar.
i really don't like the multisource thing.
and the speeds r so erratic....super low to average, all the time.
it's just the new thing now.
like i said at .org.........i liked when winmx was lurking in the shadows, popular without all the fluff and leeches.
