New Kazaalite update.
KaZaA Lite + Sig2Dat + Diet Kaza Deluxe + Speed Up + Supertrick + FAQ. All in one small package, less then half the size of the installer of the original KaZaA .

That's wierd!

I'm using an earlier package of KL1.7.2 & it just recently displayed a "Please download the new version from k-lite.tk" message. It connected normally an hour or so later.

What could be the cause? Is it : [list=1][*] that Sharman is testing a new version? or [*] that KL now has a relevant auto update checker? or [*] that the KL team actually managed to manipulate the supernodes to force everyone, ie. even regular Kazaa & Grokster users, to upgrade to KL?[/list=1]I'm presuming that number 2 is most likely, but wouldn't it be funny (not to mention sweet justice) if number 3 were the case!

I think the kazaa central login server controls the notifying of the users that theres an update.

Kazaa doesn't have centralised login servers anymore, although Grokster & iMesh do. The supernodes generate those upgrade messages. It might just be a bug or faulty supernode that I experienced, but it's seemingly irrelevant as there's no new official version & my downloads & connection status weren't affected.

i visited the site and it said nothing about including dietK. Is this because they discontinued the deluxe project? and anyone with this version of kazaaalite could you share it with me?

Nevermind i found it thru kazaalite. will try it out in a few
