Post Your Favorite DJ Mixes

What are your favorites then?

Mine=Danny Tenaglia-any of his "Global Underground" mixes are worth checking out. Fantastic DJ.

Richie Hawtin-"Close to the edit" 100 tunes, 300 loops condensed into 53 minutes. Fucking genius. Very minimal, very trippy in places but always very dancefloor orientated.

Bentley Rhythm Ace FSUK mix-Not a straightfoward dance mix as such. And I dont know what kind of club you would hear Jefferson Airplane mixed into Fatboy Slim or Georgie Fame mixed into Hardfloor. Good fun.

Stanton Warriors-"Stanton Sessions"-Hard to categorize this mix. It's got lots of different styles and it rocks.

Avalanches - Breezeblock mix ... hiphop, cyndi lauper, hendrix, dylan, kid creole and the coconuts - this stuff shouldnt go together but it does

Groove Armada - All Back to Mine Downbeat stoned grooves, you can hear the bed creaking in the Barry White tune

Soulwax - 2 Many DJs

edit: several b00mb0x mixes are in my regular playlist too (mekajiin - fuk all of yuz, assorted - morning, lv15 - brian tindle: shiteater, umboto - drinking again and loads more)

I’ve been a little down because today my doctor diagnosed me with John Travolta Syndrome. It’s a condition where your face or head grows laterally, getting wider year by year. It’s not so much of a problem and it’s nothing to be ashamed of, it’s just a condition. In fact mine is good because it means my brain is getting bigger too. But not that Travolta guy, his head is mostly fat. The doctors said I am much smarter than John Travolta and I believe them.

Deep Dish - GU021 Moskow Disc 1 a masterpiece! IMHO
DJ Tiësto - at Dance Department 27-10-01 Not a perfect mix but great tunes he played there.

Soulwax - 2 Many DJs
Any of the DJ Kicks series
Paul Oakenfold - Goa Mix (Silver and Gold)

all the boombox mixes....some of them good, some of the bad, some of them average...but they all deserve a shout out for having a go
