The $15.99 per disk is a little steep, besides the 3 different formats. Think I'll wait till next year once they've sorted this out and the prices come down if not for the drives at least for the disks. It would be nice to have something to back up a 30/50 gig hard drive without using 40 plus cd-rw's.

I wonder if this will start a DVDster site?

great first step but they need to work out compatibility, prices and capacities before i jump in.
