Cool Wakarusa Music Festival

only a few miles from where I live

http://www.wakarusafestival.com/

A lineup of 70 some odd bands, anyone see any bands they like?

http://www.wakarusafestival.com/2004...p.asp?pt=music

Tickets are $105 for all weekend
$50 for one day.

I have a friend with a boat so methinks that i will take the napster way in

"garaj mahal" lol. sounds like a fun band. i like br5-49 and i've heard of a few others like the drive by truckers and guided by voices. a 3 day music festival could be great but those tickets are pricey. untie the boat.

I like them too. The frontman from br549 is from Lawrence KS and they play here regularly. I have seen them once at a new years gig. I used to work with a guitar player that was in the band that preceded br549 called Homestead Grays.

Its freaking hot an humid here too. Might be a good time to sell mini fans, Ice and water. Lot of neo-hippies walking the streets today.

ive never seen any action taken, but ive heard rumors.

To keep liquor from being brought into the concert area, people will be allowed to bring in only two kinds of bottles: factory-sealed water bottles and empty water bottles they can fill up at drinking-water stations.

seems like a bootlegging liqour boat is needed.

if you're allowed to bring in food, spike a watermelon

cut a hole in it, allow a bottle of spirits to drain into it, and cork it back up
