bbe sonic maximizer, basically its similar to promixciter (i posted that a few months ago) except that it seems to have some sort of usage for mp3s (direct quote from info file):

anyhow its a directx plugin so you gotta have a host installed to run it from (i.e. cooledit, sound forge, wavelab, acid, cubase, samplitude, etc..)

it gives very good results, very "clean" imho

I've got a reciever with a BBE function on it but it doesn't seem to do much. The manual says that it's supposed to enhance audio by making up for inconsistencies in the loudspekers, basically normalizing each frequency individually.
