Default Green Day - American Idiot

Has anyone had a chance to listen to this cd yet?

To me, Green Day have really matured as musicians. It sounds like they put a LOT of time and effort into writing this cd, and in my opinion it is the best cd (musicily and lyricly) that they have ever done, and i would be honestly surprised if they put out a cd that can top this.

If you are like me, and appreciate good music, do yourself a favor and listen to this one!

Hell yeah. I managed to pick up an early release on Sept 13th and haven't been able to stop listening. I knew I'd like it but I didn't expect to like it this much. Very different to what I'd expected, even though I'd been warned it was a 'concept' album, or 'punk rock opera'.

Album of the millenium so far IMO. The first song (American Idiot) is the worst, but I guess they have to have a poppy single release. The 2nd Song, and the 2nd last song (the two long songs) are both unfuckingbelievably excellent cranked right up on a long drive.

Saint Jimmah!!!!

I've always liked Green Day and this does nothing to change that.

The worst Green Day album ever

"Holiday" and "Wake Me Up When September Ends" are good songs
