filetopia is asking anyone who connects to their old (v2) network to help beta test 3.0 rc1b:

it's looking good so far.. download it and help out. bugs can be reported in the messages section of #betacity, or by using 'submit a suggestion or bug report' on the help menu.

The new version can scale to host all the new users and it also has many more advanced features which include: multi-source downloads, decentralized chat, improved search, automatic file retrieval, much better user interface and improved IM features.
