isn't it amazing that the period which produced such great music also was responsible for the worst? maybe brill bldg tinpan alley hacks, their backs to wall by brilliant singer-songwriters, fought back with with a cynical scorched earth approach, giving us bubblegum and worse. on theother hand, gimme dat ding was truly inspired. - js. |

The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway synced to Alice in Wonderland ala Dark Side of the Moon/Wizard of Oz. Pretty silly yes, but it does have a few moments, if you've got the time to murder.
Also an amazing version of Roy Harper's Another Day by Gabriel and Kate Bush, from some unknown TV program in the 70s. |

Repeated playing of that song over loudspeakers forced dangerous criminals like Saddam Hussein, Manuel Noriega, and Martha Stewart to come out of their houses and surrender without any resistance. Maybe I can redeem myself with John Mellencamp, can't go wrong with him. And he's a Democrat JS and multi. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKQezhqTd7A |
