I'm using Waste Client 1.4 alpha 1 on port 11150 with a 24/7 up server, so If anyone could test my connection, here's my IP : 83.193.61.182

Would like to join the zer0share mesh.

Would like email confirmation once I'm added, and at least several IPs that are currently maintaining the network so I can try to connect until I find one that is online. Will anyone who reads this and is actively supporting this project please add me? I'd like to connect soon, not next month . .

Scoured the internet a long time to find this . . . hope it works.

BTW I'm on dialup, and it's not my computer so I can't leave it on and maintain a dynDNS.

welcome to the forum northshare and to this little experiment. you key has been added and as long as you're using an original "legacy" client you'll have the ability to connect. keep in mind not every attempt is successfull at first, so don't be discouraged if you don't get on immediately.

check your p2p-zone pm for the latest ip that will be active for the next 48 hours, then c&p it directly to the waste network status bar.

welcome to this little project.

as long as you keep your keys and meshes straight you can use any waste client, old or new, modified or not. just let us know which one you want to join.

the original zer0share mesh is for the first frankel-type clients multi's referring to while the new zer©share mesh is for the latest versions modified by a group at sourceforge.

if you're trying to get on zer©share for new clients (port 11350) your key's been added, and here is today's ip: 64.252.71.73:11350 - and yes it can help if you post yours too.

on the other hand if you want zer0share instead (port 11150) let me know and i'll make the change.

Everyone that signs up especialy those on braodband connections can get a free Ip redirection account from http://www.dyndns.org/ who offer static and dynamic DNS services (static is prefered of course)or http://www.no-ip.com who only offer dynamic DNS for free even those on dail up can update thier IPs with these services and then update their waste DNS to resolve to the dynamic IP.you set this up in preferances /IP Adresses and then check force incoming IP to the redirction name you choose after you have done this edit the key you posted and add the DNS ,this will also help in keeping the network more stable and up 24/7
