Default How Can You Tell When Your Governor Is Gay?

when his peepee tastes like poop

never mind - it's an old and quite tasteless joke....but how about the Guv of New Jersey?

Quote:
TRENTON, N.J. -- After achieving a lifelong dream by becoming New Jersey's governor, James E. McGreevey gave it all up Thursday, acknowledging that he had lived a lie.

A twice-married father of two who had proudly discussed his Catholic education and deep faith, McGreevey said he would leave office because of an adulterous affair with another man.
what a fall from grace, but he did the right thing - no stonewalling, just stood up and said this who i am:

Quote:
On Thursday, both his parents and his wife, Dina, stood stoically by his side as he announced: "My truth is that I am a gay American."
and such a nice boy from Joisey he was:

Quote:
As a politician, McGreevey took any opportunity to speak about his middle-class views. He grew up Irish-American in Carteret, spent summer weekends at the Jersey shore, and served as an altar boy at mass every Sunday for a dozen years.
gay or otherwise, America loves a stand-up guy - this one will land on his feet and end up doing quite well (think of the book deal he could put together!). i'd bet money he ends up back in politics some day.

Jeez! You in love with him knife? He was lying to everyone for years and only came out cause of a sex harrassment lawsuit.

"Fall from grace" my ass. His house of lies was collapsing on him and he came running out.

well, he is cute

....but it doesn't matter what he did or when he did it...he stood up and came clean and he'll land on his feet. the public is very forgiving, specially when it comes to victimless vices like sex, drugs or gambling - just look at Clinton, Bill Bennet or Rush Limbaugh....

The public is very gullible.

He did what any other smart sleazebag would have done, he beat the news of his misdeeds with his own confession of his misdeeds and made it look like he did it of his own accord.

And who knows how clean he came. He'll only reveal what would have came out anyway. He's smart enough for that.

well, i know the righties dream of returning to those golden days of yesteryear, when men were men and J. Edgar only put on a dress for his "special" friends behind closed doors...

...but fortunately, those days are gone for good. it seems a healthy sign of our evolution as a society that a public figure can go in front of the public and say "i have a drug problem" or "i'm a degenerate gambler" or "i'm a gay adulterer", and the public largely forgives them. why should they not?

The golden days were when a man honored his word. Once it been broken in so many ways, why should he be forgiven? Do people think he'll suddenly become honorable?

It doesn't matter what he did, it's the oaths and vows he broke that count.

He never broke his oaths to the state of N.J. and you are not a party to his vows to his wife. It is only because America is 50 years behind the rest of Western Civilization that this was even an issue you pompous hypocritical blowhole.

Heathcliff, you must be in a very bad mood today or maybe you haven't read the news. OK, the guy's a homo--big deal--but he did some unforgiveable acts and abused his position with regard to his appointment of Golan Cipel, his lover. Especially in using 9-11 to create a position for him. Now, that's shameful.

I've been searching the internet for related stories from the past 2 years, and I must admit, they were onto him. I think there will be a huge list of corrupt activities stemming from his associations. I sent him (his office) an email 3 weeks ago when I found out about a probe into the activities of one his campaign advisors and his use of a codeword (caught on tape). My email said simply "Resign now, spare us all the drama and taxpayer expenses." Little did I know just how much drama

BTW, I live in the great Garden State and I voted for this fucker.
