annoying gap in playback between titles - P2P-Zone

i use winamp for playback of mp3

there is always a gap between the titles. this is very annoying if the titles on the cd do not have clearly separated tracks.

is there any setting to avoid this gaps?
is there any player which makes a prefetch of the next title and plays without gaps.

Indy,

there are plugins for Winamp that offer gapless output. Try searching the Winamp site for such plugins.

A quick search showed me these 2 plugins:

From what I know, none of these plugins solves the problem 100% of the time or creates other problems.

I had an early version of this plug-in in my WinAmp folder. It is exactly what you are looking for!

Gapless Output Plugin

I need to start updating before I post. By the time I located this them guys had beat me to it.
And it looks like everyone found the Matthew Lloyd Plug-in

Great thread guys. I didn't realize winamp had a plugin for gap interruption. This is a nice plugin for those run-on tracks.

i was very happy with it; and if you don't want it to sound too "mixed" you can tweak all the settings.
