as it was for piano i would imagine it would be A7 chord with a diminished 2nd...or it could be the inverted A7 which has a minor interval or 2...hell it could even mean just play the A7 chord and leave the second string open....it's been like 10 years since I did music theory...give me a fucking break

Thought I'd chime in:
It would be an A chord with a second in place of a third, and an added seventh-- Open A D string fretted at 2nd fret Open G Open B Open E. Voila-- a one finger chord. It would be better spelled as an A9(no 3rd) |
