We've had this discussion before but nobody here came to the conclusion that we should crown an emperor. Philip Atkinson is clearly off his rocker. Democracy is as insidious as he says it is, but lucky for us the United States is a republic and not a democracy. The solution to this problem (if it really is one) is to invest more power in congress to balance out the office of the president.

Sucker. I hate to admit to chasing a compulsive liars link but http://www.familysecuritymatters.org doesn't list Atkinson as a contributing editor and there is no such article on the site.
