The drug cartels would never go for it. Suburban America is their bread and butter, the inner cities are just the hubs of their distribution networks. You could try to concentrate all the drug users and abusers in one place, but dealers will still continue to sell where the margins are high. In the end taxation would just reduce the drug traffic to Staten Island to a crawl, but everywhere else traffic would pretty much stay the same.

Prohibition may not reduce drug use (as far as anybody knows), but legalization would do no better.

Are you going to find another island for the alcoholics or use the same one?

Then there's the prostitutes...

Amuse yourself thinking up politically correct labels for everyone.

It's the nature of government bureaucracies to perpetuate their existance by finding ever more missions to fulfill and never succeeding so well that they can be disposed of. They've turned drug use from a small problem into a big dangerous problem so they can expand and demand more and more money and power.

But as long as stupid people won't let their fellow citizens do as they please within the dictates of civil society, we'll just have to endure the problems that are created.

Either we restrict babys or pets.

What is your choice? kill pets or humans?

I'll respond to that:

No, he, it, whatever (albed) can't because he is just a egotistical, pig-headed, ass sniffing caricature of a human being. Just don't EVER agree with him on ANYTHING.

Life is more pleasant that way!
