Default Democrats introduce Bush, Cheney, Gonzales censure resolutions

Democrats in the House and Senate have introduced resolutions calling for the censure of President Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney and Attorney General Alberto Gonzales.

Sen. Russ Feingold sponsored two resolutions in his chamber calling for the legislative action against the administration officials because of they misled the country in pursuing war with Iraq and have undermined the rule of law, he said.

"These censure resolutions will let future generations know that Congress stood up to the destructive policies of this administration that have weakened our national security, cost more than 3,600 American lives, and undermined the principles on which our country was founded," Feingold said in a prepared statement.

What a lame fucking joke; a purely symbolic gesture to get the morons to cheer while it changes absolutely nothing; and it probably won't even pass. Cheer away fuckheads, the dems have rolled over on everything significant.

The fuck he says. Congress hasn't stood up to shit. Even if this resolution passed and these 3 stooges were censured, it would be like putting a bandaid on a severed limb. It would be like giving a murderer a scolding as punishment. I'm glad they are at least doing something, but this is what the old saying, 'too little, too late', was made for.

Feingold tried this about five months ago, and got little support.

Period. They can all take their DRM, broadcast flags, rootkits, and Compact Discs that aren’t really compact discs and shove them up their bottom-lines.

Instead of these lame symbolic decisions that this current congress is only capable of making, why don't they show some real backbone and make real decisions like whether they want to stop funding the war or not. They control the House.

There probably will never be a concrete pullout date until the leadership changes, providing that the voting system hasn't been corrupted fully in the neocons favor ,a newly elected Democrat President should do job. Otherwise we better get used to troops being there for 20 years or what ever Bush is saying
