Question Right-wing media : U.S. now in World War 3 , 4 and 5

With the recent escalation of violence in the Middle East and a terrorist attack in Mumbai, India, the right-wing media have declared a new "world war" but have not agreed upon which world war the United States now faces: World War III, IV, or V.

yup, the rightie talking heads are pretty quick to declare war as long they aren't the ones who actually have to go and fight it.

We can let the historians sort it out after we die.

The once proud human race destroyed by one of their precious world wars..and they wont even know which one it was..

I say its WORLD WAR SIX !

because Vietnam was a world war within the cold world war era..

WW6 makes sense if we are going to have an Armageddon and all that sort of fun stuff..

the creature in the sky
got sucked in ahole
now there's a hole in the sky
and the ground's not cold
and if the ground's not cold
everything is gonna burn
we'll all take turns
i'll get mine, too

At best 5 countries fought in Vietnam, maybe 6.

US, South Vietnam, North Vietnam, Russia, China, Laos... maybe some arguement about Cambodia. Hardly matches up to the first two world wars now does it?

Roll eyes 1

Ah, they're not interested in truthiness, just blabbing; not that they'd actually know anything about history. France was in WW1 and 2 and it's very unlikely to be in another so that alone should disqualify anything from being called a world war.

Just another mideast war, ho-hum, what else is new?

Well if you mean what the U.S. calls the Vietnam war the answer is no. If you mean did French colonialism efforts and the reaction to those efforts lay the groundwork for the type of resistance which would later be used as the starting point for the north Vietnam army ideologies... then the answer is maybe.
