That list is total crap and a great deal of it already proven. such as 'yes, she did finally turn down the money for the bridge'. No, she didn't. She didn't build one of the two bridges she still supports, but she never returned any money.
Try to get a list from someone who isn't biased. Quote:

Oh aye, because attending the convention several times over the years and addressing your support of them, while your husband is a member, doesn't mean you agree with them.
But had Michelle Obama attended so much as one pro-'Black Panther' or pro-'Communism' group in College then the Republicans would be on it like stink on shit and calling Barack Obama a Black Militant. Contrast how the Republicans cast Rev Wright on Obama for the things he said while Obama wasn't there to how they ignore what Palin's reverend said while she was there. Stark difference. Š

If it is then it is, and that's fine. But until someone tracks down this 'Lucille' and finds out, we'll not actually know.
I don't mind her not being racist, she's too many other things, proven things, for me to be concerned that she looks down on people of color: she looks down on everyone. Š

Hands up: who wants this in the white house?
http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...ideoid=1536744 Looks more like a bad LSD trip than a church service. I don't want a fundi President. No way, no how. Not now, not ever! Š

My turn:
THE Obama's really are full of them selves, never had any job other than Govm't paid ones (one way or another). Comes from Chicago, the most corrupt city in the union. Sucked up to every black pol in the area in order to even get a chance. Stabbed his opponent in the back to get ahead and lost.. Got lucky stabbing the second one and got voted in. Refuses to vote if it MIGHT put his ass on the line. Present is the best he can do (AKA chicken shit). Talks a good line, but that's all it is, talk The big problem is his hat size. His brain is too fuc'n small. (however his big ears seem to be able to listen to the polls )

"I gave a direction to all my commissioners if they were ever in their house, whether it was Juneau or elsewhere, they were not to get a per diem because, clearly, it is and it looks like a scam -- you pay yourself to live at home."
- Tony Knowles, the democratic governor of Alaska from 1994 to 2000 Palin Billed State for Nights Spent at Home Taxpayers Also Funded Family's Travel James V. Grimaldi and Karl Vick ANCHORAGE, Sept. 8 -- Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has billed taxpayers for 312 nights spent in her own home during her first 19 months in office, charging a "per diem" allowance intended to cover meals and incidental expenses while traveling on state business. The governor also has charged the state for travel expenses to take her children on official out-of-town missions. And her husband, Todd, has billed the state for expenses and a daily allowance for trips he makes on official business for his wife. Palin, who earns $125,000 a year, claimed and received $16,951 as her allowance, which officials say was permitted because her official "duty station" is Juneau, according to an analysis of her travel documents by The Washington Post. The governor's daughters and husband charged the state $43,490 to travel, and many of the trips were between their house in Wasilla and Juneau, the capital city 600 miles away, the documents show. typical trash by the "respected" Washington Post ........front page article with a bold headline inferring that she did something wrong. yet all one has to do is to read the entire article to find that she in fact did nothing wrong. i expect something like this every day until the elction. |

never said she broke the law dd, as a matter of fact the 3rd paragraph of my post quotes a current official as saying it was "permitted." so enough w/the cherrypicking stuff.
if alaska pols voted themselves the privledge of fleecing their constituents it doesn't make it right, especially for self described reformers. if all you've got is she didn't violate some toothless laws you've got nothing. maverick reformer? nope. more of the same? yep. expect to see the real palin begin emerging very quickly. trust me, it ain't gonna smell like the fish she peddled to the rubes at the convention. |
