That's the basic dilemma of MPAA. Line speeds will keep growing no matter what they do, and it will directly benefit p2p. The download time for a movie is shrinking from days to hours to minutes. They can harass the open public networks as long as they run out of political goodwill and corrupted senators but they cannot do anything about the virtual private networks. And it won't take long until the public network technology will provide protective anonymity - MUTE and ANts are already showing the way.
