If you want to connect to another person and share, this is the easiest way. Use with a download manager http://www.rejetto.com/temp/hfs2.0beta23.zip

I didn't know if he wants to file share with someone else or wants to connect 2 computers. Now he has both options.

Thanks all of you for your kind help. I iwill try every option and then inform you with results.
FYI
I have two PCs (distance b/w them is 50ft). One has Windows 98 and other has a dualboot b/w linux and WIndows XP. Currently I want to make a P2P connection b/w two Windows OSes (later I would also like to make connection with linux also). I want to make connection b/w these two PCs just to share Internet Connection, I will not take care of file sharing.
Thanks

WASTE works well too. install a copy on each machine, configure keys and ip addresses (internal and external) and you can access both pc's via your lan and the internet. speeds are good, between 200 and 1000 kbs and security is excellent. as an added bonus you can also join or create other groups using the same program, like for friends and familly, but if separate the groups will remain invisible to each other.

client:

original

modified

- js.
