Just use NZB files to get the goodies directly from your isp's servers. These files and search engines for them are all over.

http://www.newzbin.com/ and http://www.leukemail.nl/nzb/ seem to be a link sites.

I rarely use binary newsgroups because you are limited to whatever files happen to currently be in your newsserver.

These nzb links are only going to work for a week or two after being created. They don't appear to contain filehashes so you can't be certain you are getting the original file.
