the site u give us i cannot download from, ive also tried from zeropaid.com from 3 links, they dont work either. how did u get yours from? the main site? when u download it does it download Diet Kaza like t he 1 u shown or not? or duz it d/l kazaa lite wiv those faster features? where can i get the 1 that is shown in the pic? n e 1 help us?

So Napho: I see my Kazaa Lite, Diet Kazaa and (DK DX) : Enabled.

This means KLite 2.0 (?) Diet Kazaa vs ?.

Can you give the exact versions and if possible, viable links to get them.

Kazaa++ needs to be installed over Kazaa/Kazaa Lite 2.02.

I got Diet Kazaa v2.00 rc1, Kazaa Lite 2.0.2, Kazaa++ and Kazaa++ De Luxe.

In theory if I install Kazaa++ De Luxe directly I don't need to install KLite 2.0.2 (I'm using 1.6? now).

So my question is: If Kazaa++ De Luxe gives me 40 sources and unlimited "search more", what do I gain by installing Diet Kazaa v2.00 rc1, in that very same respect?

The last time I installed Diet Gaza, the system became unstable and the results were not much better.

I guess all Diet Kazaa gives you is an acclerator. KazaaLite comes with a Fasttrack Accelerator anyway so forget Diet kazaa. And I don't know if that Kazaa++ gives you everything that you get if you install 2.02 then overwrite the exe with the hacked one.
Don't forget with KazaaLite you get more than just the .exe.

There are two K++: Kazaa++ and Kazaa++ De Luxe.

The De Luxe is a 3.8 Mb exe and includes Klite.

Although I agree with you about installing 2.0.2 and then overwriting the exe.

The stability of the Lite versions has been remarkable, and I'd like to see how stable is this "nut" fellow executable before jumping aboard ship.

I'd like to know what entails that node management I read in KDiet site, dough.

I'd be nice to be able to get to europe as easily as with Napster. Florida is a bottleneck, in more than one sense.

i read this yesterday and left the post, so i tried to look around myself, i uninstalled k/l 2.0 and installed k/l 2.02. but there was no difference really apart from the player on the right hand side instead of the left. I finally found a place to download Kazaa ++. so i installed it over 2.02. Now i can download with the continuous Search button. But the problem is u say it downloads from about 40 sources.. mine dont! In the search area it finds about 134 sources. but when i click on download it downloads from 1 person, occasioanly 2 and the downloads ent much quicker. i thought it should download from loads of sources. is it just me? or is it the program or sumert im doin wrong?

p.s.. whats this k++ deluxe?? ive got k++.. is there n e difference? plz help! fanx!

You have to make some changes in the registry. This is what they recommend

To enable the features you must add registry value names to registry key
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareKazaaAdvanced. They must be DWORD values!

If a registry name value (eg. "MaxFileSources") isn't found in the registry
then the default value is used, which is the same default value used by Kazaa
Lite 2.0.2.

Value name : MaxFileSources
Default : 8
Description: Set this to the maximum sources you want. This must be a number
between 1 and 40 (decimal). If you set it to 0 or any value
greater than 40, 40 will be used.

Value name : FindMoreSourcesTimeLimit
Default : 600 (decimal)
Description: Set this to number of secs you want to wait until you can use
"find more sources" again on the same file. All values >= 4mins
can be used. Remember that this is number of SECONDS, not
minutes. Invalid values use default value of 10 mins (600 secs).


I left out the 2nd one because it ruined the extra searches.

I think the Deluxe adds the registry hacks.

Ok ive just had a look, but it shows in the decimal its already on 40, and in hexideciamal it is 28. should this mean it works?
wouldnt it be easier to download k++ deluxe instead? or not?

ok ive downloaded k++ deluxe, still no change. im getting loads of sources when i search but im only downloading from like 1-2 sources. ive checked the regirsty and it shows 40 decimal and 28 hexidecimal. wot do i do? can nneeebody help?

I'm having the same problem. Using Kazaa ++ Deluxe. How is anybody getting more than 2 download sources?????

Also is anyone having problems with the uploads. I use to get several uploads & now I've only seen uploads 1 time in 3 days (and I left my Kazaa on 8 hours last night). And there was no real upload info. - just 3 little icons to left of screen. When I moved my cursor over to it, I could get info. as you do when you move cursor over selections after search. I didn't want to shut down if someone was downloading. At first I thought maybe I didn't have anything of interest so I added back to my drive the hot numbers from last year of the Lord of the Rings & Hobbit audio books since the movie is out again but not one bite. Does anyone have some titles that are always being downloaded from them so I can add to mine to test out?

Been gone for the last 3 months working on project so trying to catch up on your chatter...so hope none of this was covered under another thread. Nice to be back.

I've noticed that it takes a while for the # of sources to build up. Also if you're getting unusually fast speeds from a few sources then you won't get a huge # to dl from. It's more important to dl at your maximum speed . Occasionally you'll get up to 30 sources for a popular file but they seem to come and go.
