Hi there...
I'm an absolute neophyte when it comes to netiquette in general, and this forum in particular, so in response to Harbynger request, can someone please post if it's appropriate for me to post about software here ? I wouldn't like to roast in Hell for posting in the wrong place. Besides, Sharman it's already there...and Bill Gates...and...Hilllary RIAA Rosen...and...scary! |

This email is probably sent by Klez virus/worm. The virus fakes from address, taking address from the address book. If you have executed the attachments, you are now infected too

At work, we always have some idiot running virus that they get via email so we have renamed all users wscript.exe to something else. We don't have any other programs that use it so they don't need it available.
Of course...make it idiotproof and they will make a better idiot. so now we stop all exe,bat,pif etc etc from email. I'm sure someone will bring one in from home again though..arg. Happy Trails PooterMan |
