KaZaa Lite lives again!
Now under the title of Kazaa Lite Resurrection, the ad-free application which Sharman networks nuked has been given a (slightly) new name, and a new lease on life. Devotees of this p2p application can find it at zeropaid.com/ Although I've only had it installed for a few hours, it appears to be ok and a good replacement for the old favorite.

strange goings on! I'd had KaZaa Lite installed for ages, then, at this last weekend, it just plain wouldn't open. I uninstalled and tried, twice, to reinstall it, but it wouldn't reinstall (from the previously downloaded) .exe file. So I did a complete deletion of the application, and got the Resurrected version via Google and Zeropaid, which, after download, worked fine after I figured out how to navigate from the opening splash screen to the application itself. This, and comments in Google, led me to believe that Sharman had nuked K-Lite, and for me, explained why my earlier installation wouldn't open. I certainly didn't intend to mislead anybody. And, napho, bully for you if your version has been working all along - I wonder what the explanation might be

Joined after looking for a reason for my Kazaa Lite packing up. It just stopped and all my pc wanted to do was go crying to Bill Gates. Tried reinstalling twice, even completely deleted from the system and tried again still to no avail. I'm going to try the resurrection version, I am getting withdrawal from downloading Do you think the original will ever come back, I kinda liked the old girl Dave love and peace |
