Sounds like another kiss of death by the RIAA. What a pity.

From the RIAA site:
The settlement reached would allow Audiogalaxy to operate a "filter-in" system, which requires that for any music available, the songwriter, music publisher, and/or recording company must first consent to the use and sharing of the work. The other key provision of the agreement is for Audiogalaxy to pay the music publishers and recording industry a substantial sum based on Audiogalaxy's assets and interest in resolving this case quickly.

In other words, AG will give the RIAA all their money and strip its software from the very features that made it interesting. Another great p2p exodus ahead.

Of course this is a shame. Anytime I heard a song I wanted it was always there and available instantly. It's a long struggle though; use other programs Marius.

No doubt Hilary means 'value of music' in the "only $20 for a Shakira CD, what a great deal!" sense, not 'value of music' in the "heheh, we're milking these dumbasses for every penny we can and awant to keep on doing so" sense.

Most are definitely NOT copyrighted material and they STILL freakin' blocked them!!!
