WinMX back to beta testing

Beta testing to resume shortly. For the next version we are concentrating on improving the stability of the client and increasing primary connection efficiency, along with a few minor refinements to the interface. Please check back here often for updates.

A justified move. They got multisourcing right in 3.1 but the client was unstable so better get at least that one fixed.

Didn't want to waste a thread..........

I was pretty content with 3.1 - had a few minor bugs here and there but nothing which would put me off the client until very recently - like within the past several days.

Where 3.1 was relatively stable, I now find it crashes rather unexpectedly, usually while connecting or shortly after being connected (but it has happened at other times too) and without any warning.......

Something's definitely amiss and I don't know if it's them or if it's me, haven't done anything differently to explain the crashes.

WinMX has caused an error in blah-blah........winmx will not close...............<sigh>.

Back to 2.6 until the next "fix" becomes available.

I just havn't felt like doing much more then just reading for awhile I guess

Wondered where you've been lately and just figured you've been busy.

I'm glad to see ya though - perhaps I'll wonder into FTC and see what you've been up to
