Programs that don't work well for you - P2P-Zone

I've noticed that some people have no luck with programs that are fine for others.

eDonkey is slow for me but others say they can get 100k/sec.
I like WinMX but for some reason other people can't get as many results and thus remain queued for hours.

I don't have luck with any of them at the moment.....

The trick for me with eDonkey was to increase the Max Connections setting in Options. The default is really low, especially if you're on a fast connection. I pumped it up to 500, and was downloading 10 files at once; yeah, things really took off then.
