and not a minute too soon! an effort's been made to address the crippling flaws in kazaa/grokster v1.5.0 (terminal disconnects, failed searches) with quick updates. much more than a patch, these new versions are called 1.5.1 and you'll find the one for grokster here. while it installs easilly right over the previous version it also re-adds some spyware, meaning you've got to run ad-aware after your upgrade and you'll need to replace the cd_clint file again.

the updated grokster clean installation instructions found here will handle this version.

Thanx for the info. 'tis a shame users need to give there computers a high colonic enema so often, to keep the spyware out it seems.

I didn't update, but the connection issues went away. Strange.
