Default Wheres the source?

Seems there was some confusion when morpheus preview came out, as it was missing the source code, something required under GPL. Now though they have begun distributing the source code aswell....

Need more proof that the boys at morph just threw together the preview edition in the last few hours after morph orignally was shunted off the kazaa network?

A cursory check of the source reveals files modified as little as 24 hours ago -- one contains the comment at the beginning "Modified for StreamCast Networks by Rob Adamson 3/2/2002".

You would think if the preview editon was something they were working so hard on for so many months, as claimed in newsletters, that there would be no need for quick edits.

Get a real job Rob!

Please bend over a bit more for morpheus. Remember to moan and scream like a japanese school girl.

i'll try to sound less extreme then Ethan but that statement is misleading. There is no "preview edition" of Morpheus. It's simply the code for another program (gnucleus) with a kind of crappy GUI and some banner ads. I mean, no one is exagerating when they say that, it's exactly what it is.

If they've been working on something for months it is not what they released. What they released a few people on this board by themselves could do in 1 or 2 days, I think.

I look forward to whatever the Morpheus folks have been working on for months but no applause is required for what they've released. If you want to applaud someone better to applaud the guys who created gnucleus and send them a donation.

Just my working class background dude. When there's an
breakdown/ outage it's balls to the wall and get it back up and running. and we we'll worry about 'pretty' later on.
we both agree this an interim step on short notice
and as far as the name? well it was their call /
