My turn:

THE Obama's really are full of them selves, never had any job other than Govm't paid ones (one way or another).

Comes from Chicago, the most corrupt city in the union. Sucked up to every black pol in the area in order to even get a chance. Stabbed his opponent in the back to get ahead and lost.. Got lucky stabbing the second one and got voted in. Refuses to vote if it MIGHT put his ass on the line. Present is the best he can do (AKA chicken shit).

Talks a good line, but that's all it is, talk

The big problem is his hat size.

His brain is too fuc'n small.
(however his big ears seem to be able to listen to the polls )

Let's see...

Quote:
Following high school, Obama moved to Los Angeles, where he studied at Occidental College for two years. He then transferred to Columbia University in New York City, where he majored in political science with a specialization in international relations. Obama graduated with a B.A. from Columbia in 1983, then worked for a year at the Business International Corporation and then at the New York Public Interest Research Group.

Obama entered Harvard Law School in late 1988 and at the end of his first year was selected as an editor of the Harvard Law Review based on his grades and a writing competition. In his second year he was elected president of the Law Review, a full-time volunteer position functioning as editor-in-chief and supervising the law review's staff of 80 editors. Obama's election in February 1990 as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review was widely reported and followed by several long, detailed profiles. He graduated with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) magna cum laude from Harvard in 1991
And then there's...

Quote:
McCain attended Episcopal High School, a private preparatory boarding school in Alexandria. In high school, he excelled at wrestling and graduated in 1954.

Following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, McCain entered the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis. There, he was a friend and informal leader for many of his classmates, and sometimes stood up for people who were being bullied. He also became a lightweight boxer. McCain came into conflict with higher-ranking personnel, he did not always obey the rules, and that contributed to a low class rank (894 of 899) despite a strong intelligence. He did well in academic subjects that interested him, such as literature and history, but studied only enough to pass subjects he struggled with, such as mathematics. McCain graduated in 1958.

I can honestly say you're as smart as John McCain. Congrats.

"I gave a direction to all my commissioners if they were ever in their house, whether it was Juneau or elsewhere, they were not to get a per diem because, clearly, it is and it looks like a scam -- you pay yourself to live at home."

-
Tony Knowles, the democratic governor of Alaska from 1994 to 2000

Palin Billed State for Nights Spent at Home

Taxpayers Also Funded Family's Travel
James V. Grimaldi and Karl Vick

ANCHORAGE, Sept. 8 -- Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has billed taxpayers for 312 nights spent in her own home during her first 19 months in office, charging a "per diem" allowance intended to cover meals and incidental expenses while traveling on state business.

The governor also has charged the state for travel expenses to take her children on official out-of-town missions. And her husband, Todd, has billed the state for expenses and a daily allowance for trips he makes on official business for his wife.

Palin, who earns $125,000 a year, claimed and received $16,951 as her allowance, which officials say was permitted because her official "duty station" is Juneau, according to an analysis of her travel documents by The Washington Post.

The governor's daughters and husband charged the state $43,490 to travel, and many of the trips were between their house in Wasilla and Juneau, the capital city 600 miles away, the documents show.

Quote:
"The policy was not to reimburse for family travel on commercial airlines, because there is no direct public benefit to schlepping kids around the state," Knowles said. The rules were articulated by Mike Nizich, then director of administrative services in the governor's office, said Knowles and an aide to another former governor, Walter Hickel.

She's such a mavericky reformer! And smart too! Well, smarter than McCain, seeing as she attended 5 colleges to get her BS degree..

Quote:
Palin spent her first college semester at Hawaii Pacific College, transferring in 1983 to North Idaho College and then to the University of Idaho. She attended Matanuska-Susitna College in Alaska for one term, returning to the University of Idaho to complete her Bachelor of Science degree in communications-journalism
And she's had nothing but BS ever since. Gotta love those mavericks..

what a great post jack. show the first few paragraphs of the story and then cherrypick a comment from a former Democratic governor.

allow me to post a few quotes from the same article that you "neglected".

Quote:
Gubernatorial spokeswoman Sharon Leighow said Monday that Palin's expenses are not unusual and that, under state policy, the first family could have claimed per diem expenses for each child taken on official business but has not done so.
Quote:
The state finance director, Kim Garnero, said Alaska law exempts the governor's office from elaborate travel regulations. Said Leighow: "The governor is entitled to a per diem, and she claims it."
Quote:
Leighow noted that under state policy, all of the governor's children are entitled to per diem expenses, even her infant son. "The first family declined the per diem [for] the children," Leighow said. "The amount that they had declined was $4,461, as of August 5."
Quote:
Gov. Palin has spent far less on her personal travel than her predecessor: $93,000 on airfare in 2007, compared with $463,000 spent the year before by her predecessor, Frank Murkowski
i wonder what Governor Knowles' expenses were.

typical trash by the "respected" Washington Post ........front page article with a bold headline inferring that she did something wrong. yet all one has to do is to read the entire article to find that she in fact did nothing wrong.

i expect something like this every day until the elction.
