problems with connecting to winmx-uls-chat - P2P-Zone

Having problems configuring winmx. using trend micro and it's possible ports 6699 and 6257 are blocked.
can't do any uploads, or connect to chat, even on primary.
q's keep disapearing..anyone have any suggestions. have tried to add these ports but it doesn't work. Iam using a cable modem and no routers

had some similar probs but this is a lockout. i just re-installed os (clean install and everything is fresh, including the trend micro app). think my puter might have been hijacked and ul bw was disapearing.
no one can connect to ul and chatrooms are blanked out.
trying to fool with trend micro p-cillin internet security program i just installed to see if I can add the ports winmx uses.tcp and udp, but it didn't work.

at a bit of a loss at what to suggest
do a check for spyware as well
are there different winmx clients you can try ?

a few people have had problems connecting to stuff after this comcast screw up on fri-sat
havent used winmx
for ages...sorry
