Help - Dial Up Problem

While using Soulseek the dial up stack died twice.

Both times I lost the connection, and when trying to reconnect the option is grayed out. I can't neither connect nor disconnect, and my only option is to reboot.

The device manager shows the vxds, ndis.vxd and others, working fine, but the tray applet has a red circle with a yellow x indicating a problem.

So, is there any way to prevent this, and second, any way to re-enable dial up again without rebooting?
