Bridge collapse and Infrastructure concerns...
It just amazes me how we can spend gazillions on a unwinnable war, but our politicians continue to let our infrastructure crumble and wither away....because they just love to raid our transportation funds for other useless legislation and follies....like the donkey georges so called ' war '.
Unbelievable. |

Anyway, the bridge collapsed while road work was being done. If you think the bridge collapsed due to habitual neglect and underfunding then those road workers must have been working for free. Last edited by Mazer : 02-08-07 at 06:33 PM. |

Congress controls the spending; democrats control the congress; so shove the Bush-bawling back up your brain.

The States, NOT the Feds are responsible for maintaining bridges.
The States and the Feds are supposed to do inspections. The Dems made lots of earmarks, but apparently not for maintaining bridges Edit: It should be easier for the Dems to get their way now that they have become adept at stealing and misrepresenting votes on the (Congressional) House floor. Shame.

They can all take their DRM, broadcast flags, rootkits, and Compact Discs that aren’t really compact discs and shove them up their bottom-lines. Last edited by Drakonix : 04-08-07 at 12:28 PM.
