Death of Gene Kan, Gnutella developer
25-year old Gene Kan died on June 29 as a result of an accident. Gene was one of the pioneers of p2p, co-founder of InfraSearch and a developer of the Gnutella system. He was also a staunch advocate and spokesman during the file-swapping debates that swirled around Napster.
