KaZaA Lite Patch

For anyone who uses KaZaA Lite, there's a patch for it. You can read what it's for and download it here

Something the page that you download from doesn't care to mention is that it displays the creators name or website in 3 places, all under help.

Sorry to anyone that downloaded it and installed it. It's totally useless. The reason it's so much kb's is because it replaces the whole KaZaA Lite program with his "advanced" version. It doesn't actually patch it. It's identical in every way because it is the KaZaA Lite program just patched. Why he didn't just include the patch only, I have no idea.

ok that's a fair enough criticism but how does the update actually work - is it indeed an improvement over the previous version?

This patch currently improves version 1.7.2:
- changed "My KaZaA" button to "My KaZaA Lite"
- changed title bar from "KaZaA" to "KaZaA Lite"
- added PLAYER CONTROLS to tray right-click menu
- cleared out all of the blank menu items
- edited the tray icon's tool tip text to "KaZaA Lite is now connected...", etc. from "KaZaA is now connected..."
- changed "Hide KaZaA", etc. in tray menu to "Hide KaZaA Lite", etc.
- an updated splash screen with "Advanced Version" added (to impress your friends)
