Default Theaters to Lecture Against Movie “Piracy”

By CATHERINE TSAI

ASPEN, Colo. (AP) - A leading theater chain has agreed to run before movies public service announcements that warn against copyright infringement, the president of News Corp. said Tuesday, describing an effort to take the entertainment industry's war against the online swapping of movies to theaters.

The spots, which also would appear on network television and video releases, say downloading movies instead of buying a ticket or a video would hurt the film industry's behind-the- scenes, yet crucial workers, including makeup artists, custodians and others, said Peter Chernin, Fox Group chief executive and News Corp. president,

Chernin would not name the theater chain involved. http://apnews.excite.com/article/200...D7LHFC182.html

i know a few "makeup artists and custodians" and lemme assure anyone that had any doubts that they won't be affected in ANY FUCKING WAY by our downloading some shitty cam of MIB2.

and even if the quality gets better for DIVX... they STILL won't be affected.

cocksuckers in PR need to stop sleeping at night.

hmmmm....let's see: I already have to sit thru 8 or 10 previews, at least two commercials, one incredibly annoying PSA from the Aussie crocodile guy - just to get to the feature presentation. What makes these people think I'm in the mood to be lectured while I am enduring all this waiting, just to see the movie I paid for?

In fact, actually going to the movies continues to becomes less enjoyable and more expensive - more bullshit to sit through become one more reason not to go...
