Is This A Coincidence? - P2P-Zone

A couple weeks ago there was a thread predicting viral applications that the RIAA would use to hack user versions of Fast Track software..this morning both Grokster and Morpheus told me I had out dated versions and needed to upgrade. Is this a) coincidence
b) due to the fact they both use Fast Track
c) an insidious plot by the RIAA to take over the world
d) rampant paranoia on my part?

I'm certainly not paranoid but maybe we shouldn't talk about this...they might be watching.
