if you use winamp

right click on the player

select

options/preferences/setup/file types

check register types on start

and check all filetypes, you want to play with winamp

Default Another solution

If you are having this problem with other files you can always go into you control panel-> folder options-> and then click on the file types tab. There you can manually change what program runs each file type. It's a handy thing to remember because a lot of programs now a days likes to make itself the default user even without asking.
